Michelle came to Aestique in 2001 with a background in Restaurant and Office Management. She began her career at the spa shortly after its opening. After several years, she moved to the Medical Center, where she gained knowledge in many different aspects of the business. She then returned to the spa in 2007 as a Spa Manager. Michelle oversees the overall operations of the Greensburg spa and ensures that our patients receive the best possible care. She handles all patient concerns and special requests and answers general spa-related questions.
Briana joined Aestique Plastic Surgery years ago as the Aesthetic Practice Manager. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an extensive background in financing. Briana is a real people person, and functioning as a patient advocate comes naturally. Through her Patient Coordinator position, she will guide you throughout the process and by your side each step of the way. Briana also oversees the overall operations of the Shadyside spa and ensures that our patients receive the very best possible care. She handles all patient concerns and special requests and can answer any and all questions you have, ensuring that your experience at Aestique Shadyside is positive and enjoyable.
Maria joined our Aestique team in 2011. She has 8 years of UPMC critical care nursing experience in Pediatrics and adult Neurovascular Medicine. Maria holds a BSN degree from Duquesne University and a Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified injector of dermal fillers and botox at our Shadyside office. She also performs laser treatments for photorejuvenation, hair removal and scarring. When Maria is not performing Medical Spa services, you will find her assisting Dr. Lazzaro with patients. Maria’s nursing background has instilled a wonderful bedside manner with the upmost care and compassion for her patients.
Nadine joined our medical practice at Aestique in 2003. She has more than 30 years of experience as a PA. Prior to her coming to Aestique, she had practiced for 14 years in vascular surgery including sclerotherapy for varicose veins. Here at Aestique, she has become our specialist in non-surgical procedures. Nadine practices at our Medical Center and the Spa as well as our satellite office in Shadyside. She performs a range of facial rejuvenation treatments using leading-edge lasers for skin resurfacing, facial vessels, pigmentation and hair removal. Nadine also administers injectables to soften or reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to sculpt the face with products such as Botox and Juvederm. In addition, Nadine conducts patient consultation alongside Dr. Lazzaro. Her many years of experience, attention to detail and warm disposition always puts patients at ease.
Chelsea started at the Spa at Aestique in the Spring of 2016. She will be one of the first faces that you see upon entering our Spa. Her smile and positive disposition will help you have an enjoyable experience. She will help you to schedule your appointment and assist in coordinating any packages. Chelsea also works closely with the Physicians Assistant in providing medical spa services and is very knowledgeable in the non-invasive treatments we offer.
Devon has been employed at the Spa at Aestique since the Spring of 2011. She is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and is a licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician for more than 15 years. You will have the opportunity to meet Devon when you visit with us. She will greet and assist you in your scheduling of appointments and assist in coordinating any packages. She also assists in the pre-treatment process of the Medical Spa and is very knowledgeable in the non-invasive treatments we offer.
Aestique welcomed Lisa to our team in late summer of 2014. She comes to us with 5 years background experience in Pediatrics. Having spent her whole life in the Pittsburgh area, she will bring her home town skills to life as she assists you in our Shadyside office. Her friendly disposition is experienced by all who interact with her. She will assist you from the time you call in to schedule, throughout your visit, all the way thru to check out. Charlene has been with Aestique since 1998. She graduated as a Certified Medical Esthetician from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1987 and is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists. She was on our Medical Center staff and treating patients even before the opening of the spa. She enjoys educating our Greensburg clients on proper skin care and various techniques to optimize their skin health to make them look and feel their best.
Amber is licensed in both Esthetics and Cosmetology with over 20 years of experience working in various realms of the beauty industry. In addition to her cosmetology education, she also holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing and Management from Penn State University. Amber is also certified to perform eyelash extensions and permanent makeup. Extremely passionate about skincare, she genuinely cares about every client and goes above and beyond in providing nothing but exceptional service. She offers skincare services in the Shadyside Spa location.
Ovie is a licensed Cosmetology Instructor, Cosmetologist, and Medical Esthetician. She has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. She holds multiple certifications in advanced training including many non-invasive procedures including laser services, dermaplaning, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Ovie is certified by the Look Good, Feel Good Program, sponsored by the American Cancer Society. As a two-time breast cancer survivor she continues her passion for educating patients on product ingredients, wellness concerns and correcting their skin care needs. Ovie is active in the community, speaking at various groups and organizations. She is also a Court Appointed special advocate for children – CASA volunteer and enjoys helping with Therapy dogs, as she visits nursing homes, churches and schools with her 9 year old black lab, Duke.
After a lifetime in accounting, Amy left her position as a controller to pursue her love for aesthetics. She returned to school and has spent the past several years as an esthetician and nail technician at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh. We’re thrilled to have Amy as a part of the Shadyside team. She is a graduate of D.E.C. and is certified in microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels and all of our advanced medical facials and waxings. She is passionate about working with you to achieve your aesthetic goals.
Kate is a recent addition to our Spa team in Greensburg. She received her license in Cosmetology and Esthetics in 2015. She has been in the beauty industry for over 6 years as a concierge and 2 years as lead aesthetics. Katie has a passion for putting her clients at ease. She guarantees total relaxation and superior service at your next visit!
A graduate of the Aveda Institute in Aesthetics, Geri is certified with several skin care lines, advanced treatments and stays on top of the newest advancements, research and technology in skin care. Her passion is to develop a results driven skin care routine, including both professional services and at home skin care, by working with each client to correct their specific skin care issues, maintain healthy skin and to prevent future damage. “How old you are is your business….how young you look is ours!”
Sandy has been with Aestique since 2002. She graduated from Blue Sky Education Foundation and has been practicing massage therapy for more since 1993. Sandy has worked with chiropractors, naturopaths, physical therapists and personal trainers. She is certified to perform a range of massage therapy techniques, including lymphatic drainage massage, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy massage and reflexology. Sandy places emphases on health care and self-care techniques and philosophies to help each individual obtain optimal health within their own boundaries. Her primary focus and belief is on facilitating physical, spiritual and emotional well-being through massage therapy.
Kaitlin came to Aestique in the fall of 2014. She graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2003 and has been in the field practicing massage at various spas, chiropractic centers and in private practice. She is certified in basic and advanced techniques including Sweedish, neuromuscular, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, myofascial release, pregnancy and chair massage. Kaitlin’s mission is to support individuals in achieving life balance through personal wellness. A firm believer in the connection between mind & body, she is a proponent of massage for relieving physical an well as emotional stress. Her serene approach offers harmony, balance and ease to your busy life.
Denise graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy and has been practicing massage since 2000, originally in private practice and then 14 years in a spa setting. She is well versed in spa treatments and modalities. She’s certified in basic and advanced techniques of massage including Swedish, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Myofascial, Pregnancy, and specialized training in Lomi Lomi and Cupping. Her philosophy is that she believes massage can help with mind body connection allowing the client to heal and stay healthy both physically and mentally.
Cory has been at Aestique since 2004. She graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in Greenburg and has been a licensed nail technician since 1998. She specializes in natural nails and gel polish. Cory also offers acrylic nails and wraps. She truly enjoys the close relationship that she has developed with her clients over the years. Her warmth, knowledge and skill have allowed her to build a large following of clients during her time at the spa.
Melanie received her manicure license in 1995 and her cosmetology license in 1996. She worked at Salon DeMatteo for 17 years while starting a family before coming aboard Aestique’s spa staff in 2012. We are so happy to have her. Come experience her nail services for yourself.
Jaycin has 13 plus years as a professional in the beauty field even though her interest in beauty started at a young age while styling hair on her dolls. She began taking classes in high school at a local area Career and Technical school. “The more I learned, the more interested I became.” Successful participation in competitions at regional, state, and national levels of cosmetology just fueled her desire to learn. By the time she graduated, she had obtained her cosmetology license, and went on to earn a teaching license at Douglas Beauty Academy. Just to list a few of her hands on experience on a very well qualified resume are Nemacolin Woodlands Spa, LANCÔME working as a Manager/MUA and Paul Mitchell as an educator.
