Project Description

What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

Trending as one of the top cosmetic procedures performed over the past several years, Brazilian Butt Lifts are allowing people to contour areas of unwanted fat and, essentially, move that fat into their buttocks area giving them the desired aesthetic result they’ve dreamed about! Through a Brazilian Butt Lift, Dr. Lazzaro is able to create a well contoured buttock area utilizing your own unwanted fat without the use of implants. You achieve desired contours while sculpting those unwanted bulges.

Whos is a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The best candidates are those with good to fair skin tone who have a flatter or unshapely buttocks. Individuals should be in good general health and close to their realistic weight range. You should be within 10 pounds of the weight you believe you will maintain. Adding a filler that comes from your own body (autologous) while removing it from unwanted body contours (abdomen, hips, thighs) is the ideal solution. There are no potential rejection side effects, like those when using an implant, since you are utilizing your own fat. This procedure allows Dr. Lazzaro to create a buttock that never was or has slowly lost its shape with time.

Are there risks involved?

As with any surgery, the most common, but rare, risks are bleeding and infection. Autologous by definition means taken from your own body so the fat transfers eliminate your chance to develop an allergy or rejecting the material. Results are incredible, natural and safe.

How do I plan for a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The first step towards a Brazilian Butt lift is to schedule a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Lazzaro that addresses your goals and desires. We are all unique – physically and mentally so the treatment must be customized specifically to you. It is best to know all of your options. As always, there are pros and cons with any procedure. ATF is a safe permanent way to restore volume while removing fat from a donor site – areas you want to improve.

What happens during a Brazilian Butt Lift?

This is a revolutionary procedure of taking excess fat from unwanted areas of the body and transferring it to the buttocks. It is performed in an outpatient setting and can be performed under sedation or general anesthetic depending on the patient’s medical history and the volume of the transfer.

The fat is first removed from the donor site, which also enhances the body’s contour. Typically the donor site is the abdomen, hips or thighs. The fat is then processed to obtain the highest amount of viable cells. This processed fat is then delivered in an artistic manner shaping the desired buttock contours. The procedure can range from two to four hours depending on the area(s) to be treated.

How long is recovery after a Brazilian Butt Lift?

After your procedure, you will be placed in a tight compressive garment (think spandex on steroids!). You will want to avoid pressure on the area for at least two weeks to allow for vascularization, allowing the fat to take. You can return to work within six days as long as you abide by the doctor’s restrictions.
