Briana joined Aestique Medical Center several years ago as the Aesthetic Practice Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and an extensive background in financing. Briana is a real people person, and functioning as a patient concierge comes naturally. She will be your advocate throughout the process and by your side each step of the way. Briana will schedule your appointments and procedures, obtain the best financing and check on you postoperatively. She will answer any and all questions you may have, ensuring that your experience at Aestique is positive and enjoyable.
Marilyn has been with Aestique for more than 20 years. She specializes in patient financing, including insurance verification. You will meet with Marilyn to discuss your surgical costs and obtain information about the best financing options available to you. She will also work with you to schedule your surgical procedure at a time that is most convenient.
Kristi came to Aestique in 2001 with a background in Office Management. She began her career at the spa shortly after its opening, where she served as the Spa Manager until 2005. After taking some time off to raise her family, Kristi returned to Aestique with a nursing degree. She now serves patients at our Medical Center as a Private Practice Nurse. You will meet Kristi during your preoperative office visits and she will serve as your primary contact in handling all of your postoperative care. Kristi will answer all of your questions pertaining to surgery, recovery and the like.
Maria received her BSN in nursing from Duquesne University in 2003. She has eight years of nursing experience in Pediatric and Adult Critical Care at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She is currently attending the University of Pittsburgh for her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner with an anticipated graduation date of August 2012. We are thrilled that Maria has chosen to join our Aestique team in 2011. She is a certified injector of dermal fillers and Botox here in our private practice and assists our surgeons during their office hours and postoperative care of patients.
Nadine first came to Aestique in 2003. She has more than 23 years of experience as a PA. During her time at Aestique, she has become our specialist in non-invasive procedures. Nadine practices at our Medical Center and the Medical Spa, as well as our satellite office in Shadyside. She performs a range of facial rejuvenation treatments using leading-edge lasers for skin resurfacing, facial vessels, pigmentation and hair removal. Nadine also administers injectables to soften or reduce fine lines and wrinkles and to sculpt the face with products such as Botox and Juvederm. In addition, Nadine conducts patient consultations alongside our plastic surgeons.
Kari has a degree in Office Management and also in Travel & Hospitality from the Bradford Business School. We were lucky to have her join Aestique in August 2009 as a part time concierge in our Medical Spa. She recently came to the Medical Center to take the role as the Private Practice Receptionist. You will have the opportunity to meet her if you come to our Greensburg office for an appointment. She will joyfully work with you to set up your appointments, assist with any necessary paperwork and help you with any questions you may have.
Krista has been employed at Aestique since 1999. She will most likely be one of the first faces that you see upon entering our medical facility. Her smile and positive disposition will help guarantee that you will have an enjoyable experience at our office. You may have the opportunity to interact with Krista as she assists the physicians with certain aspects of your coordinated medical care as well as producing the Aesthetic Medicine television show.
Hope has worked for 16+ years at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville before we had the privilege of having her come to Aestique in January 2008. She brought with her experience in orthopedics, Medical/Surgical and Cardiac nursing. A graduate of Western Pennsylvania School of Nursing, she was honored for obtaining the highest score on the Therapeutic Communications test. Hope is currently our OR Manager/Clinical Assistant but has been seen working with the doctors in their office hours as well as the recovery room when needed.
Since the spring of 2008, PK has been an essential part of our recovery room. She has 40+ years of nursing experience and has an extensive background in post-anesthesia management. She loves working with patients from the pre-operative stages all the way through transitioning them into postoperative care and discharge. You can experience her passion firsthand as you arrive at Aestique and enter our pre-admission area. She is onsite to answer your pre- and postoperative questions and to serve as your liaison between the Private Practice and the Surgical Center.
Ceil joined the Aestique family in March of 2010. She has worked as a nurse for 48 years; four years ICU/CCU, two years in education and 42 years in the operating room. Her operating room years were spent at the former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital, Shadyside Hospital and Uniontown Hospital. "My favorite hobby is cooking and baking. Surgical nursing is my life and being in the kitchen is my avocation. I have been married to my husband John for 46 years; I have a son named Michael who is 43. No grandchildren but a grand dog and our baby, Nikki, the Cocker Spaniel. Yes, I am 68 and still working. I tried retirement, which lasted about three months, and didn't really like it. I plan to work as long as God continues to bless me with good health."
In 1995, Inge received her BSN from West Virginia University. She came to Aestique in 2010 with extensive experience in the Intensive Care from both UPMC Shadyside and Westmoreland Hospital. She provides safe, compassionate care in the recovery room by helping you from the time you are admitted until the time you are discharged. She has the ability to ease any concerns you may have by providing answers to all of your questions and preparing you for your surgery.
Dani graduated from Westmoreland County Community College in 2002 with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in the medical field previously for Westmoreland Hospital in the Admissions Department as well as for another doctor in private practice as a Medical Receptionist. You will have the opportunity to interact with Dani Jo as soon as you enter our building. Her smile will greet you as soon as you step inside our facility. If you are scheduled for a surgical procedure, she will assist you as she walks you through the process of registration and pre-operative paperwork completion.
Any one of our plastic surgical patients who have a facelift and/or tummy tuck will have the pleasure of working with one of our overnight nurses – Lori or Joni. Once you are discharged from our Surgical Center, you will be transported to a local hotel where one of them will stay with you overnight. They will provide you with the most dedicated one-on-one care by constantly assessing your needs. They will be evaluating your incisions, checking your vitals, providing education, reviewing your postoperative restrictions, and communicating your progress with the surgeon.
Lori has been a nurse for over 28 years and has worked for various local hospitals, including ICU/CCU and ED, OB/Labor and delivery and Ortho Med/Surg. She has been on staff at Aestique for the last 19 years and originally started in our recovery room providing pre-and postoperative care to our patients. She now serves as our Overnight Nurse, providing one-on-one care to our patients who require an extended stay.
Michelle came to Aestique in 2001 with a background in Restaurant and Office Management. She began her career at the spa shortly after its opening. After several years, she moved to the Medical Center, where she gained knowledge in many different aspects of the business. She then returned to the spa in 2007 as a Spa Manager. Michelle oversees the overall operations of the spa and ensures that our patients receive the best possible care. She handles all patient concerns and special requests and answers general spa-related questions.
Stacy has been employed at the Spa at Aestique since 2007. She will be one of the first faces that you see upon entering our Spa. Her smile and positive disposition will help you have an enjoyable experience. She will help you to schedule your appointment and assist in coordinating any packages. Stacy also works closely with the Physician's Assistant in providing medical spa services and is very knowledgeable in the non-invasive treatments we offer.
Devon has been employed at the Spa at Aestique since the Spring of 2011. She is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and is a licensed Cosmetologist/Esthetician for more than 10 years. You will have the opportunity to meet Devon when you visit with us. She will greet and assist you in your scheduling needs.
Charlene has been with Aestique for more than 13 years. She is a Certified Medical Esthetician and has been licensed for more than 25 years. Charlene received her education at the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She was on our Medical Center staff and treating patients even before the opening of the spa.
Megan is also a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and has been a licensed esthetician for more than 14 years. She joined our spa staff shortly after its opening in 2001. Both Charlene and Megan are exceptionally talented in their fields of expertise. They offer a full spectrum of premium skin care services, including facials, masques, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, makeup application and depilatories.
Sandy has been with Aestique since 2002. She graduated from Blue Sky Education Foundation in 1993 and has been practicing massage therapy for more than 18 years. Sandy has worked with chiropractors, naturopaths, physical therapists and personal trainers. She is certified to perform a range of massage therapy techniques, including lymphatic drainage massage, sports massage, neuromuscular therapy massage and reflexology. Sandy places emphases on health care and self-care techniques and philosophies to help each individual obtain optimal health within their own boundaries. Her primary focus and belief is on facilitating physical, spiritual and emotional well-being through massage therapy.
Brenda came to Aestique in 2006. She completed her massage therapy training and graduated from Career Training Academy in Monroeville. She has been in the field for more than 10 years. Her philosophy is that it is a rewarding experience to not only be able to help people physically but also give them a sense of well-being and balance to escape the everyday stress of life through massage therapy.
Angela began her career at Aestique in 2008. She completed her education, training and internship at the Massage Therapy Institute (MTI) in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from their Healing Arts Program in 2004. Prior to joining Aestique, Angela logged numerous hours working with clients at chiropractic offices, country clubs and throughout the area, traveling with her table doing home therapies. Angela is certified in deep tissue massage, sports therapy, Swedish massage, hot stone, trigger point therapy and pregnancy massage. She keeps up-to-date on all aspects of holistic healing. She believes that through massage, the body, mind and spirit receive a "Healing Touch."
Cory has been at Aestique since 2004. She graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in Greenburg and has been a licensed nail technician for more than 13 years. She specializes in natural nails and gel polish. Cory also offers acrylic nails and wraps. She truly enjoys the close relationship that she has developed with her clients over the years. Her warmth, knowledge and skill have allowed her to build a large following of clients during her time at the spa.
